Located in Toronto, RentWOW!!! is a leading provider of high-quality furniture and accessories for home staging in the GTA to facilitate the fast and profitable sale of properties. They offer a wide range of furnishings of different styles and sizes for homeowners and realtors to stage any property—from small condos to multimillion-dollar homes.
The Challenge
RentWOW!!! approached us to redesign their website to highlight their new rebrand and make a stronger connection with their customers. Additionally, they wanted to establish a solid foundation for further business development and growth, become an essential asset, and produce a high ROI. A new website would also complement the new brand identity we designed for the company to help establish them as a premier high-end furniture rental business.
Discovery Phase
After meeting with the client, we focused on understanding their most pressing problems, user pain points, and business requirements. We discovered that the website redesign for this client should:
- Reflect modern trends and requirements
- Deliver an outstanding user experience in the typical online journey of its audience (search for furniture, building wish lists, checkout, share with friends option)
- Be mobile-friendly
- Load quickly and meet other SEO requirements
- Be easy to manage by company employees
- Ensure that it’s well-maintained and secure
The Solution: Level Up The Brand
Custom Portal
In addition to designing and developing the website, we also built a customer portal. The portal allows users to check order status, reorders, download invoices, change contact information and personal and billing information, and check for rebates and discounts.
User-friendly Website Features
To make the website more appealing to customers and improve their chances of success online, we added the following features:
- Conveniently search furniture by category, colour, size, material, shape, design element, and collection.
- Suggests matching products and displays similar products to the one selected.
- A feature to save items to a specific room (living room, home office, etc.) to help during delivery and setup post-delivery.
- A wish list and the ability to assign those items to a particular room.
- Share items with anybody via email.
- Use your existing account or check out as a guest.
- Estimate the discount rate for delivery and pick-up based on the location and day of the week.
- Select the insurance option during check-out
- Customers can check order status and order history, reorders, download invoices, get rebate and discount information, and contact sales representatives via the contact form.

For design inspiration, we added an ideas and inspiration gallery with clickable tags on photos that open a product profile.
